Polyus gold output rises 23% to 602,000 ounces in Apr–Jun

MOSCOW, Jul 24 (PRIME) -- The gold production of Russia’s Polyus increased 23% on the year to 602,000 ounces in April–June, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

In January–June, the output rose 18% on the year to 1.109 million ounces.

Sales increased 6% to U.S. $1.291 billion at the average price of $1.317 per ounce.
